I wanted to order some chocolate transfers from Beryls web site, but you have to credit card info in and wait for shipping to be cal. then it will just charge your cc AFTER it is finished, so you don't what you getting into. Just wondered if anyone had tried them and if the shipping was reasonable?
TIA
I would be very wary of that, I agreed to similar terms with a company in the Uk. I wanted to buy a heavy duty tall box for delivering a specific stacked cake. Turned out although the box which was corrugated cardboard and very light only cost me STG£8.50 they charged me STG£20 shipping on top of it. We use Euro here in Southern Ireland so my cardboard box ended up costing me 42.00 which is about $40.00.
I haven't agreed to those terms since and I've found if a company is genuinely interested in dealing with you, they will have no problem contacting you about the final cost after they've weighed your package.
