Please could you tell me what half and half means in the white cake receipe. I am Australian but living in London Thanks. Lee-Ann

It is a product that they sell, it's half cream/ half milk.. Hope this helps..(So you could just use half cream half milk in the receipe if you can't find it)

You can find Half & half in the dairy isle with the milk. atleast you can here in the states, but as Joann said, you may have to make your own.

I didn't have half and half at home, so I used half whole milk and half heavy whipping cream and it worked fine.

Thanks everyone no we do not have it here but will try 1.2 cream half milk

I know in holland they call it koffiemelk translated coffeemilk.
Maybe you could find it under that name.
