I am having a hard time rolling out my MMF. I put it in the microwave for a few seconds, but it doesn't want to spread. Did I use too much powdered sugar?

That might be it.....I zap mine and then kneed it before rolling out. Also, I add Crisco if it is super stiff and that adds some elasticity to it.

I would add in some crisco like CakeDiva said. I have started adding 1/4 cup to mine while I am making it and it makes a big difference.

I agree. Slap some Crisco on it, knead it, and place it in the microwave for 5 seconds and knead it some more. Microwaves vary, but eventually you should get a very pliable ball of fondant.

Good luck!!

You might also try a few drops of water with the crisco. It might need the moisture.
