We had some strong storms come through Thursday night...it was really bad!! Look what it did to our tree 5 minutes after the storm hit!! icon_cry.gif Luckily no one was hurt and it only did minor damage to our house...but it scared the pooh out of us!! icon_surprised.gif The poor kids couldn't sleep at all that night. Now they are calling for more tonight and tomorrow. icon_surprised.gificon_cry.gificon_eek.gifthumbsdown.gif

WOW! i am sure i wouldn't have slept either after that. Someone up above was definitely watching out for you and your family. Glad you all are safe and sound in your home.

yikes - I feel for you. 2 years ago we dodged some major bullets with all the hurricanes that skirted up the coast - there is something really scary about hearing the trees cracking when the wing blows.....

That REALLY is a little too close. I can just imagine how scared you and your poor children must have been.
Is it unseasonal weather or is it typical of this time of year for you?
Needless to say it still is bad weather.

Hope the storms aren't as bad in the next few days for you. Hope you are all safe and sound.

Thank you sooo much!! We had some more storms last night and this morning...but the wind wasn't bad. We're not suppose to have anymore for awhile. It's a big mess outside...trying to clean up the tree and you sink down in mud...ick!!

Hi Denise,

I'm so glad that you and your family are okay...that was to close for comfort.

My next door neighbor have alot of trees...even one hanging over their house icon_surprised.gif and everytime we have strong winds, I'm scared to death that one will fall on my house.

awww ... I feel your pain .. I'm in South Florida the last couple of years have been horrible when it comes to storms ..... I wish there was something I could say to make it better ... I can't .... here is a HUG!!!!
