Hi, all ~

I am doing a pirate ship cake this week carved from an 11"x15" cake with flags, a few fondant accents (cannon, barrels, scroll saying "Happy Birthday), chocolate cake, chocolate bc. No fondant but the frosting will be made to look like wood planks. How should I price this?
Also, I'm doing the attached cupcakes with chocolate transfers. What would you price ea. cupcake?

Thanks,
Julie

Somebody said, price your cupcakes at the same per-serving price as your cake. Makes sense to me.

I would charge $3.00 per cupcake.

with all the work you are doing on the cake, I wouldn't take less the $75.00 and I am probably pricing this low. Hopefully you will get more comments about the pricing.

Here's a bump!!

I do a pirate ship...$75. NO 3-D sculpted cake should start for any less than $75...IMO
OH...my pirate ship is BARE..only sails and rope border. You are adding lots of fondant work...prob worth at least $100 or more.
and yes...cup cakes for the same price as your cakes per serving.
