I never found anything wrong with her...she just doesn't do my kind of cooking. I've watched here and there but I wouldn't go out of my way to watch. I haven't heard anyone badmouth her before though. It's always interesting to see where these tv personalities come from![]()
Yes, INDEED!!!! I watched it too and it was very moving!
I have a new found respect for her as well. She really fought hard in childhood and took charge of the upbringing of her younger sisters.
I am very glad she did so well. Surely persisted and sacrificed a lot and succeeded at the end.
I mainly watch her when she makes her cake mix cakes because she adds things that I never thought of adding before. ![]()
Oh, I wanted to add that I am a cake scratch baker, but I find interesting how she does her cake mixes.
I will probably try her dessert book and see how it goes.
I love Sandra Lee as all the other Chef's too!! Sandra Lee has great ideas!! Molto Mario & Bobby Flay's shows were interesting too! Bobby quit HS & got a GED. Mario had a brain anurisum (spelled wrong) right after he started out. Emeril... I love him!! He used to be skinny! LOL
Paula love her!! Rachel is from the same place my DH is. That was cool to learn. I love watching foodtv last week! Very interesting to learn that they weren't born with a silverspoon in their mouths! Good TV!! ![]()
I keep meaning to catch those shows, but I have missed them so far....I personally don't care for Sandra Lee's show that much, but only because I dont like the themes and how over the top its decorated, I think some of the ideas are good...but how many of us can go out and by place settings to match every party!! I think that is what bothers me the most. I have no problem with her personally though, its just not my favorite show....but I do love food network, I love the Iron Chef (wouldnt you love to judge one of those), rachel ray (but not her talk show so much), giada, bobby flay (esp throwdown show), Alten Brown's Good Eats, and I love Ina's barefoot contessa.........ok I admit it...I am a food network junky.
