No but they did a nice job! I just did one and I had not seen that one before during my searches.
Wow I had not seen uor cake before is it in the galleries, do you have any tips for me party is April 7th. Merissa what size is yours the one in Nati's tutorial feeds about 50 - 60 people, I actually do need one that big for 60 people don't know if I want to mess with two cakes (one small car on top of sheet cake) or just make the 3d gigantic thing and take it to Dallas, your cake is amazing!!! I am sure your son was so happy I hope I make my nephew happy
Thanks, yes mine is in the gallery, I just posted it yesterday.
I used an 11x15 sheet cake and cut it in half along the 15 inch side, stacked and trimmed it so it was then 11x6 and 4 inches high. So actually for the size I did, a 12x12 would have been perfect, I would not have wasted as much cake, but I did not have one. I would say it fed around 25 people. You could put it on a sheet cake or something...or if you are feeling like you need a challenge, you could do mater too! Let me know if you have any more questions.
I don't know who's that is but if you go to
http://members.optusnet.com.au/boonenati/car.html
she has step by step instructions to make a car cake.
Are you sure you got it here? I've done quite a few searches of those cakes and have not seen that one. That is FANTASTIC, there is so much *character* to it.
Merissa, you did a fantastic job on yours as well, I was totally admiring it the other day.
I might be begging for some help, my son is going between power rangers, mack and lightning, or buzz lightyear for his birthday.
