I'm just full of questions today! Was wondering...I know how to sugar fruit/grapes with egg whites/fine sugar but is there a way to do it NOT using egg whites? I always worry about the raw egg but love the look.

You can buy pasteurized egg whites in a lot of stores.
Or maybe you can use powdered ones and make it thick enough to do the fruit.

I've read you can use meringue powder and water to do it.

I have heard of people using gelatin, but I use the meringue powder with water.
