Hey Twinsline: Its not my sons birthday tomorrow icon_confused.gif Maybe you thought that because of the batman cake? The cake is for a friend's nephew.

Anyway, we actually agreed on furniture icon_surprised.gif And we agreed on a color for the playroom & the livingroom icon_surprised.gif Seriously, this never happens! My husband's taste in furniture is well...hmmm....uh.....looking for a word...um...not current. Yeah, thats a nice way to put it. icon_lol.gif

I'm very excited though...I get to put the kids in the playroom & get my livingroom back party.gif

Now, I have to get my booty moving on the painting or we will never get the furniture in. icon_biggrin.gif

Well, I have to paint the playroom, move all our old furniture in there & then paint the livingroom. We had them hold the furniture until I was done painting. Its probably going to be a few weeks before we have them deliver it.

I couldn't wait to get new furniture..the furniture we have looks like it belongs in a funhouse icon_lol.gif The couch is red, the loveseat is blue & the chair is yellow. My husband & daughter picked this out 5 years ago. Actually it is going to be perfect for the playroom.

The new couches are tan khaki color. The walls are going to be red & I'm trying to convince him to let me rip the carpet up because there are hardwood floors underneath. I keep teasing him that I'm going to do it when he's at work icon_surprised.gif

I know what you mean about the toys...I actually gave up my dining room to make it a playroom. Its down the hall from the livingroom & I can just shut the door if it becomes a mess.I swear if I tripped over one more truck I was going to lose my mind!!

Hey newtodecorating: welcome back into our insanely long thread icon_lol.gif Yes, we've decided on a pea-pod green. I know it sounds weird, but I think its going to look really good with the couches. I might even paint the kids names on the wall in block letters...haven't quite worked it out in my head yet.
Anything going on with you guys tonight?

hmm what could we make it now......KEEP THE BEAR ALIVE!!! hahhaa

OH I forgot to tell you all ....My boys said another new word today!!!

"PON BOB" !!!! we at Walmart....which by the way I can't stand......but thats for another 1000 post ....anyway they had sponge bob sippy cups that they went crazy for they reached out and started saying it !!!
Now its all they say........you can say you want a cookie which was their word last week and they say "PON BOB" ....here is your teddy "PON BOB".....hug your brother "PON BOB"!!!

WHOOO HOOO PAGE 8!!!

Now I'm aiming for it to be like this.....

1, 2, 3, 4, 5,.......10 HAHA

keep it up!!

ge...thats funny because someone taught one of the twins to say " oh sh*t"...my husband syas it was me, I said it was my Dad and my Dad says its was my husband!!!! Every time he dropped something, something fell, or the phoen rang....he said it!!! Do you know how hard it is to get the other kids NOT to laugh when he says it!!! Of course they can't help it so he thinks its funny......now when he says it they all hide their faces in a pillow or their hands.....so now he drops something says it...then puts his hands over his face!!!! And what does the other twin do when this happens.....points at him and says "dond" which is don't!!! ok ok , now I admit to teaching that!!!

twinsline: that is hilarious!! That's how mine says don't . I swear he is like the most polite baby. If you hand him something he says tanku...if you burp, he puts his hand over his mouth & says kumbee for excuse me & please is peeez. This age is so much fun.

Oh, and you can change the title...go to your first post, press edit & change the title name. Wonder how long they will let us keep our post going before moving it to the lounge.

BATBALLS!!!!!!!!! icon_surprised.gificon_lol.gif

well we can't be moved to the lounge.....we just need to keep talking about the bear!!!

Besides...look we are doing a great thing tlnewman feels encouraged to use the pan now!!! Plus we are laughing!! thats the best part!

although if we keep talking about cake balls we may get sent the NG!!! and I would not be ok with taking our little bears into that area!!

ge how old is your son again? My boys say tanku too sometimes...but not often. I can't get them to say drink or anything like it they still do the eh eh eh eh whine!!!

oh that reminds me tlnewman when you are ready to use your pan...I would highly highly recomend ge978 for the birthing process......best little bear ob/gyn around!! icon_biggrin.gif

nigh nigh for night night & if he wants something to eat or drink he goes to the refrigerator or cupboard & pulls on it until I get it for him...very impatient baby - I for the life of me have no idea where he gets this from icon_confused.gificon_lol.gif

tlnewman: yes, I come very highly recommended as a cake midwife...I even have references!! Seriously, if you need help we will be here if you need us thumbs_up.gif

my boys are 17 months....or are they 18 months? One of them just started walking a month ago!!! Lazy little bum!!! It was all fear....you should've seen him when actually did it he walked like a very very very old man creeped more than walked!!!

they also say nigh nigh...well one does the other runs away and says dond dond.........I noticed this morning another new word is move....so you have the polite...I must have the rude!!!

yes we are definitely here for you and your bear pan!!! You're all going to laugh at me...but ge ever since we talked about turning it into batman (jokingly) I have an itch to try it!!! I was thinking I would try the cake mix with a pound cake mix combined and see if this maybe helps with it not being so dry! what do you think?

man I'm trying to keep my boys up later tonight so they will sleep longer and through the night....I think they are cutting their dog teeth(haha) canine cuspids whatever they are and they have started waking up again in the middle of the night............they usually go down between 5 and 6...they have to get up early with the other kids in school.....anyway THIS IS HARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its only 6:45 I wanted them up later!!! icon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

sorry I didn't get back before....it is crazy time around here

twinsline: my son doesn't go to bed until 10:00pm & gets up at 7:30...can't complain too much though he takes a 3 hr nap everyday

I decided to do the batman cake at home because its for a friend....can anyone tell me where I went wrong with this logic...anyone icon_biggrin.gif The kids are driving me crazy. My 8 year old is giving me attitude & my little one is getting into everything & spinning himself into circles until he gets dizzy & falls icon_confused.gif If my husband doesn't get home soon I am going to lose my mind!!!

I have great respect for those of you who do this from home on a full time basis with kids...do any of you have any hair left icon_surprised.gif

Hey Twinsline7

Eight pages impressive !!!

Did you check out the Devils cake on page 10 under Sports in the Photo Gallery of

It could be easily adjusted to make a cute Batman cake !!

Keep the discussions going.........

freddie...that is a GREAT idea!!! ...I haven't had a chance to sit and go through each one....man she uses the bear pan for A LOT!!!! Now I want to try and make a Seattle Seahawk with the bear (yes I know ge...this is where we may bump heads, but remember our bear keeps us together!!!!! That site is so cool!!

ge...wow a 3 hour nap!! I would kill for that much time in the middle of my day!!! I'm lucky if I get an hour out of them around 10 or 11.....they get real cranky and sleepy around 2/3 but because I have to pick up the older boys from school at 3 they don't get that nap....which must be why they hardly EVER make it past 6!!

4-7 are always crazytimes around here!!! I do most of my baking and stuff late after all the kids are down...if I ever chance it during the day its when my husband or my 13yr old are home!!! But I will say I have bald spots just from kids alone..... icon_lol.gificon_surprised.gif

Now seriously...back to the bear pan................uhhhhhhhhhh have you gone through that website and seen ALL and I mean ALL the different things she has done with that bear!!! that reminds me...freddie I didn't see your elmo or cookie monster where is it? I'd like to see them! icon_biggrin.gif
