Hi guys...I made a (few) cakes w/BC 50/50 butter and Crisco recipe. They have crusted and are also filled with BC. It it ok to leave them out for a day or 2?

Thanks!

The buttercream icing will be fine. I have done it. If anything the cake will spoil before the icing.

You don't think in 2 days the cake will go bad, do you?

Thanks CP..

nope.....it won't go bad, I had someone pick up a cake that I personally left out for 1 day.......and they picked it up on wednesday adn didn't eat it until saturday!!!!!!!!!! They left it in their car "cake was too big to refrigerate" and they all said how awesome it was "moistest cake they ever had".........there is nothing that can spoil in the bc and the only problem leaving cake out is it gets dried out, but if the entire thing is frosted the bc will protect it from drying......it will be fine
