Hi everyone this is Chez from SC just wanted to ask what white cake recipie goes good with a strawberry filling? Watching the Whose Wedding Is It Anyway marathon and just got motivated to try something new. Also should I use the Comstock Strawberry filling or something else? Help greatly appreciated.

I made a white DH cake for V-day that was a major hit. I added 1 tsp almond extract to the mix and I used a good store bought strawberry jam from the store. I heated the jam on low in a sauce pan until it was a gravy consistancy, let it cool, torted the cake and filled it. I topped off the cake with a homemade whipped cream that I made, piped some stars and a border on it and was done.
cream cheese pound cake goes great with stawberry filling!!! one of my favs.
