I was thinking of a cookies company online but I started looking around and there are TONS and I mean TONS. I just wanted to know what you all thought about them all.

Have you tried any and what did you think?
Who is the best in flavor or decorating?

Just let me know what you think?

THANKS

The only ones I've tried are Cookies by Design and that's only because they have a store about 30 minutes from me.

Did you notice that a lot of those cookie companies use the same pictures? I'm thinking that they are just "middlemen" for wholesale cookie bakers, like how flower shops work.

My mom received a Cookies By Design bouquet a few weeks ago when she retired. I never got to try one, but dad said they were hard and not very good, but they looked nice.

Yes, there are lots of companies aren't there! I have also noticed that some are getting them from the same place and selling them as middle-men. Those cookies look really nice!

Like everyone has mentioned, many of them are just franchises of CBD. I would check your local area and your state and see if there are any actual online cookie companys in your state (and surrounding states) and if any of your local bakeries do specialized cookies.
Even check out ebay - see if any of the ones on there are in your area. Lots of people would rather order from someone in there area than go across the country to order.
I'm in the process of opening up shop soon. mostly local but will then do a website and have them online. Since most of the companies are in the USA and Eastern Canada not as many in Western Canada. When I did a survey of my area and a 100 mile radius for my business plan most people had never even heard of speciality cookies or cookie bouquets! Been selling them faster than i can bake.
So many things to check into when thinking of opening up, but hope this helps abit.

I thank you all for your information.

I never even thought of a middle-man should have but didn't. I did see that they were using all the same pictures but not the same pictures on cookies by design.

I'm not sure this is what I am going to do just something I am thinking about. I love to do cakes and cookies and just thought that the cookies would be tiny tiny bit easier.

thanks again!!
