Ok i'm throwing around the idea of opening a cake decorating business. Calls are into the health department and after i get that settled I'll move on to the accounting, taxes stuff. Anywho, I was wondering if when starting out you advertised and what gave you your biggest return. Any other tips or wish I would have done thats would be appreciated. Im in western ny so anyone with personal experience here would be great

So far mine has been a website on the internet and just a simple listing in my phonebook. Make sure to track everything and make sure if you are really making money. Only do a couple of things at a time, see what works and what doesn't.

ALso ask new clients how they found you. I ask that of everyone and I'm finding that my name is starting to show up on other websites via other links. Cool!
