Anyone going to the "Sugar Wonders' 4th Cake & Sugar Art Show" this weekend (March 24-25th) in McKinney, Texas? DH & I are going on Sunday . I have never been to a cake show & I can hardly wait to see all the fabuous cakes and see what supplies are for sale! Will I be allowed to take pictures of the cakes?? Any suggestions of what supplies I should head for first that might sell out??? icon_rolleyes.gif

I went on Sunday and it was great. I bought alot of "toys" and can't wait to try them out. Just wish I could call in sick tomorrow so I could! Nice meeting you sweetcakes--great demo. I have pictures but I don't know how or where to upload them to share with others on CC. Can anyone help with this?

yes, it was great to meet you too, not quite sure how my demo went i was so nervous i hardly remember it. it was pretty straight forward so there really wasn't much to say about it or show. glad you got a lot of toys, i was very good and didn;t spend a penny, but i already have a lot of stuff!!

I bought lace molds, and impression mats and the metal tool with balls on each end for making flowers--which I haven't learned to do yet! My precious DH kept telling me to get what I needed while I was there and had the money---I just love him! : ) I could have really spent twice what I did but I was good and just bought what I knew I needed or would need soon.
Your demo was good! I love your accent. I could use one of those Kopycats --my handwrithing is awefull--it's on long list of things needed down the road.
