Gumpast That Isn't Too Brittle

Does anyone have a good gumpast recipe that isn't quite as brittle as Wilton Gum Paste?

Gumpaste is supposed to dry hard, the flowers can be saved for a keepsake, if desired.

the best gumpaste recipe is the one on Nicholaslodge.com It has the recipe and detailed instructions.
