I got the printer, the ink and the wafer paper. Printed with success a sheet that I have since cut up to place on top of cookies. I just made the dough, that's chilling. I have royal and buttercream to play with, so...
Do I just place the wafer paper print on top of the wet icing? Do I have to paint with piping gel? Do you prefer buttercream or royal for this process? I can find plenty about frosting sheets, but nothing about the wafer paper. Thanks!

I was just wondering if anyone uses this type of paper also. Did you get it from tastyfotoart.com?

I think you can even bake it onto the cookie if you want to....Of course then you can't really frost them.

I got it from sugarcraft. The frosting sheets are so expensive, I wanted to try this first. I got 100 sheets for $16.00!

I asked this a while back about how to attach wafer paper to fondant. I was told to brush piping gel underneath. It worked great! So, in your case I guess I'd use rolay and let it harden then use some piping gel and stick the paper on top. While you're playing stick in in the royal to see if the colors run or if it works fine that way too. It might eliminate a step!
