But they won't show their faces for me in the gallery!

Are you typing it exactly the same as in here?

Sorry I can't be of any help, mine never show up in the gallery either, I just thought it was me.

I guess I'm not alone either. I thought it was my computer that was preventing the emoticons on gallery comments.

Maybe the emoticons are claustraphobic and do not like the little spaces in the gallery comments.
They won't work for me either.

Nope! Not here either!!!

I can only make them work there, if I click on the "more smilies", and then click on those.

I didn't know you could click on them I just type in the code for the one I want for instance

Type in : l o l : but don't put the spaces in between each character.

In the reply screen if you hold your mouse over the emoticon you want you can see the code for it . mine shows up in the bottom left hand corner of my browser window.

is : U S A : (but without the spaces)

I'm going to give it a try, but I don't think just typing the code for it has worked for me before. But, then maybe I'm remembering it wrong.

Okay, the mystery thickens -- I just tried it and I was able to get an emoticon when I clicked on it!

Not sure what's going on, but at least it worked for once!

Usually when I click on an emoticon in the gallery I get an error on page notice down in the bottom lefthand corner of the browser window, sometimes it works though.

I couldn't get them to appear either but i learned you have to hit more smiles then pick the one that you want.

I'm glad I'm not alone

Here all this time I thought I didn't know what I was doing.
