Business cards!
You can print them from your home computer. Choose a name, picture (one of your cakes? ), add phone number. Carry them in your purse and hand one out whenever someone says they want a cake... A magnetic one will go on the fridge to be seen every day...
Can't help on the tilted cake, sorry.\\

Same here, cannot advertise, word of mouth only. When people say they want to order a cake in the future and I know them well, I ask them for when and what they are thinking of, even if it's months away. I tell them I will call them a month before and that works well! Just use you calendar and you should be good. I just have a nack for having 2-3 cakes on the same date! IT justs adds a little pressure!

I really like your bus. card. Get them out there and do some donating.
As far as the topsy turvy cake, there is a how to article on this site. Just do a search or look through the articles. Would post the link but I don't know how to do that.

www.vistaprint.com
Free business cards, just pay shipping. It's about $5 for 250 cards.

You may want to check on the business cards...in some places they are considered advertising if you have a business name on them. But you could just put your name and contact info on a card, and that could in no way be considered advertising, it's just a 'calling card'. It seems that since you're legal you should be able to advertise, but laws are different everywhere.
Sorry I can't help with the tilted cake. There is a tutorial on this site, but there are a couple different ways to do them. I haven't gotten brave enough yet icon_smile.gif
