until my daughter's wedding and my first wedding cake attempt. The two cakes (10 and 12 inch layers) come out of the freezer tomorrow and I plan to ice them with fondant on Monday. Then allow them to set and attempt to decorate on Tuesday. I have a large number of gumpaste roses and filler blossoms, some of which I have wired into sprays. Is there any easy way to stick the roses into the sides of the cakes to get a cascading effect??? All the roses are on wires - wish now I had done some on toothpicks. Any help gratefully received.

Sorry I can't be of help, I don't venture in the wedding cake category. Just wanted to wish you good luck, I'm sure it will come out beautiful!

Just an idea, could you wrap the picks around a tooth pick like in a "curlique". Good luck.
