I'm making masquerade theme birthday cake - complete with fondant masks. My problem is that I made the masks to late and I need to start painting them NOW.... but my fondant isn't dry. ((I only cut the masks out a few hours ago)) Is there a way to speed up the fondant drying process or am I just out of luck? Thanks!

You can try placing them in front of a fan. I've tried that with gumpaste and it dries faster.

I think that someone said on here not too long ago that they have placed fondant items in their oven with just the light on and it dried them faster!

I hope it's not too late, but here's a link with a few ideas:

I put mine in front of a fan and it really helps a lot. If you can, turn them from time to time so the air hits the whole thing.
