My FIL has season tickets to the OU games.........and I think there is a waiting list of several thousand people. Both he and my hubby had a very depressing football season. OU wasn't as good as the previous years...it was very depressing for them. You'd think their best friend had died. Sometimes I think hubby is going to have a stroke watching OU play.
I am used to Tech not having a great team so it's not so hard to accept a loss!! Although they did beat OU this past season ![]()
Another thing I like about going to OKC is Brahm's ( I think I spelled it wrong). We don't have any in Austin and the closest one is in Hilsboro which is about 2 hours away.
I live in Stillwater, Oklahoma. That is one hour from Tulsa, one hour from Oklahoma City, and one hour from Ponca City. We have two Braum's here in town, one less than 5 miles from where I live. Home to Eskimo Joe's, Mexico Joe's, and Joseppi's. The Bay closed down a couple of years ago. We also have the very large Tumbleweed's (bar - dance club) two under the same roof. Home one of the largest Testicle Festivals, it draws some of the large Country Western names in the country to the festival. It is also where Garth Brooks got his start from. People from all over the nation travel just to attend. I've also had a part time job skinning, cleaning, rolling in beer and bread crumbs. Lot of work in that job. Still have never taken a bite, oh, no, not me.

Hi,
Just thought I'd post and say I'm up in the northeast corner of the state. A few minutes from Missouri and from Kansas. We live in rural Miami.
