I am soooooooo proud of myself!!!

Thanks to everyone who answered my questions all day about me using a novelty pan for the first time!!!

PS.....the strawberry flavor worked fine...did tint the icing some but with a tiny tiny bit of brown it made the perfect flesh color!!!


My first character cake............except I made Dora into out Sissy!!! Looks just like our daughter clothes and ALL!!!

Congratulations! Your cake is adorable. I find that for me the character cakes and the shaped pans are harder than a 'regular' cake.

I'll bet Sissy loved it!

THANK YOU THANK YOU!! I am so proud of myself....!! t only took me 4 hours!! HAHA icon_lol.gif

Sissy hasn't seen it yet....she helped mix it bake it and color the frosting.......oh and model the outfit of course......but fell asleep during the icing part!!!!! SO she has a morning surprise!
