Why, I'm using fondant to dress a potato up like John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever, of course! Doesn't that sound perfectly normal to all of you?
(This is for a school project with my son, by the way. I'm not COMPLETELY loopy. Just SLIGHTLY.)

I just love school projects. I am icing a princess cake for my 5yr old great niece. oh will the potato dance after you dress it? 
I'm hoping it will come alive like a California Raisin and boogie all over the countertop.
at first i thought you must be joking! i bet thats gonna be a fun school project! im making a practice cake for my BIL and his fam. the real one im baking tomorrow. i LOVE painting on fondant! i ran out of cake to paint, far before i got tired of doing it.
I will start my Spring cleaning tonight (I am a nightbird by nature).

My DD has a paid cake to make for tomorrow. The teachers at ther high school have hired her a few other times. Thing is, she has to work until 8:00 pm, so dear old mom baked the cake and will crumb coat it for her, to give her a head start. She'll have to do her own FBCT. I did one last night and my hands are killing me. LOL

I've got ya beat (LOL), I started my Spring cleaning Monday. I've been wondering if I'm the only one that's Spring cleaning during Spring Break.
I starte my spring cleaning today. Took out all the china and whatknots and flower vases and washed them all. Then I deep dusted from cieling to floor. Then out came vacuum and I hosed everything I could get around under and behind. 
Didn't that take away from your cake decorating time?! No, but seriously, you guys are so good starting your spring cleaning! I should take a lesson from you and go dust something...
hahahahaha. That was a good one. I crack me up.
Anyway, the potato man is about done, and I'm trying to get a good picture of him so you all can see, if you'd like.
