I have never made a cookie bouquet but want to try one. What do you use for the sticks and where do you get them?

I've only done bouquets once, so I'm not an expert, but I bought the Wilton lollipop sticks (found them at Wal-Mart in the craft dept)...I put mine in before baking and they worked wonderfully. Jodie

Bamboo skewers from target or many other places.

Skewers can be cut to different lengths and one end is pointed for easy insertion into the cookie or the foam.

I agree with Wendy....bamboo skewers are wonderful to use! They're not too thick, are VERY strong, easy to cut and I think I bought a bag of 100 for $.69 at GFS! Not too bad! I have also recently begun to test coffee stirrer sticks from Boston Stoker. They're nearly identical to Starbucks coffee sticks, but Starbucks sticks are very flimsy! A store manager at Boston Stoker let me buy a carton from them and they're working wondefully! The thing about each, coffee stirrers and bamboo skewers is that you know they're food safe!

I use wooden skewers, less expensive and they feel strong, but I cut the point a bit, to make it less sharpened; because I fear some people are going to take a big bite into the cookie and hurt them selves.
