Decorating By imaginecakes Updated 14 Mar 2007 , 5:51pm by Peachshortcake
Ok, so I have some Cake dummies, and I tried to wrap them in Plastic wrap so that I could decorate them and then reuse...but this stuff sticks to NOTHING!!!! INCLUDING ITSELF!!!! Now I remember why I refuse to use this stuff!!! Is there a "plastic wrap secret" that I am missing somewhere? Thanks everyone!!![]()

ha ha ha ha ha ha!! I feel your pain!! As far as cake dummies, I used some leftover acrylic paint my hubby had (he's a handyman) and that works well. Don't use anything oil based or it will eat the stryofoam.
You can also use them as-is and soak them in hot water and let them air dry. Styrofoam doesn't absorb water so it's easy to clean them with hot water.
As for a plastic wrap secret, go fish! ![]()
Staple the stuff in to place. jk
Press and seal is a god send IMHO. I dont have dummy cakes but it works on everything and it doesnt stick to its self until you want it to.
