thanks to everyone who helped me with this one. The 42 cakes came out great ! A neighbor stayed up until midnight with me on Friday then i was up at 3:00am Saturday morning. I delivered the cakes at about 3:30 (transporting them wasn't too bad either- i had a few of them that slid on the cake board but I was able to slide them back in place) I had to get back home and get ready to return to the sweet 16 as a guest, when I arrived I received lots of compliments, unfortunately the little kids couldn't keep from sticking their little fingers in the cake!! I finally got home about midnight and slept in until 11:00am Sunday then took another 3 hr nap. What a weekend, now I have to get ready for the F/T job tomorrow.
i'll get pictures loaded as soon as i can figure out how to do it.

Sounds exhausting! This order must have given you a huge feeling of accomplishment, I'm sure. I can only imagine...I would be on cloud 9 after pulling that one off successfully! Congratulations! Can't wait to see pics.

Wow! I had 4 tasting cakes, a 3-D ferrari cake and chocolate dipped strawberries this weekend and I was exhausted. I need to go to bed just thinking about 42.
I have a full time job also and the nights and weekends are spent doing what I love but boy, it is getting so it takes more and more rest to catch up.
I want to see pics!
