The only Wilton food product we 'need' for our class is the meringue powder for the butter cream, and the piping gel.
And I think you should be able to find a substitute albumen or meringue powder at your local supermarket.
And I think they sell piping gel on this web site, and if not, try sugarcraft.com
i have used Wilton meringue powder in an icing for someone allergic to peanuts with no problems. i thought it was safe because there is no peanut warning on the label. i may have to look for a substitute now just to be safe.
is Americolor safe for the peanut allergic?
Send ColorBoy a Pm and ask, he is the official representative of Americolor on this site.
