Bus driving is going great! Thanks for asking. I love it! I'm subbing every day! I've had to turn drivers down because I was already driving for someone else. There aren't many subs right now. I might even be hired long term when 06-07 school season starts. I hope! I've only taken out (hit) 1 mailbox & hit 1 pole (that was at the school)!! 
Not a bad track record!!

I do have some news to share with ya'll... I'm having Lap Band surgery on March 6th... I'm excited about getting healthy & in smaller clothes!!!! 
I will be putting pics up on my webshots page before & during the weight loss. So if anyone is curious they can go check me out. Please keep me & my family in your prayers too. It's gonna be hard & we're ready for this life changing decision! Ya!!

I've been around, TC.....I have to admit, not as much as before.....but it's just because the kids' schedules are getting more hectic. I teach my son's first grade class every Wednesday. They do something called "centers" where they break up into 4 groups and do a specialized study. 2 math groups, 1 poetry group and 1 art group....
Guess who has the art group? And we're studying Monet....I'm really not a fan of impressionism but I love teaching the kids.

Hey AShiana, Lap band is when they stapple your stomach & then put this band thingy around the opening of the stomach. Your stomach is only about 2 oz in size. It works! It's the only surgery I trust after researching most weight loss surgery. Nothing like gastric bypass. Lap band is also reverseable. Thanks a lot for wishing me luck. I'm gonna need it! Like I said I'm ready!!
