DH wanted to go fishing today so we went to a new spot to try. Well on the way home I talked DH into stopping into the old bookstore that has been around since the 30's they sell a lot of used books and new ones also. Well as I was looking around in the cooking section and found 2 for the wiltons encyclopias (sp) they were marked $5 each so I bought both of them. I could not believe my luck. I know I have seen them on ebay but was never able to win the bid now all I need is thelast one. At lease the day was not a total lost since we did not catch any fish.

Congrats on finding them and at such a fantastic price. I'm envious. At least now I might have a chance to win them on Ebay.

after I paid for the books I told the manager that I have been trying to get these books off of ebay and told him what they were going for. He said he did not relize that there was such a demand for them. As for Jo-ann I'll try to watch if I see you name I wont bid against you (maybe) lol
I have an extra of the first one if anyone is interested. and if I see your name on an item on ebay I promise to try & control my urge to bid. 
. Volume one is the only one I've been able to win so far. But I did get Colette Peters as well as Toba Garretts' & Kaye & Liv Hansens' books. So didn't do too bad[/u]
