I am looking for ideas for a bymnastics cake for my granddaughter. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. She is 9 yrs. old.
Also ideas for 2 yr. old granddaughter for backyardigans cake????? Thanks sooooo much for any ideas.

Don't know the backyardingans enough to help there, but as for the gymnastics cake, you could try one of the following:

1. an FBCT of some various events. There's plenty of clip art drawings of gymnasts and the various events.

2. You could do an edible image of her doing gymnastics.

3. If you want to do fondant accents, you could make a balance beam, uneven parallel bars, a gym mat, etc. with a scoreboard and a perfect 10 on it -- even though I don't even think they score the same way anymore!
