How Many Decorated Cakes Have You Made - Ever?

While I was falling asleep this afternoon (Much needed nap), I was counting up the number of decorated cakes I've done and the count is 25!!! I'm 37 years old and I've done 25 decorated cakes and FIFTEEN of them are from the last 15 months... I bake, but not decorated cakes... before my best friend's wedding, I did just my son's birthday cakes (before any class)...
Wow... and 7 of them have been paid cakes!

I've done a total of 21 cakes. I just started decorating since March of last year.
I've probably done several hundred, maybe more. But I've been decorating for almost 12 years. This does not count all of the cakes I made just for family before I took up the "hobby".
I know several who have done many, many more than I. I'm glad I'm not in their shoes.

LOL, I've only done 2 cakes, but I've made several fondant and gumpast figures. I'm just starting.
i have ben working in a grocery store bakery now for about 18 months. and i would say that in that time frame i have done hundreds of cakes. between the normal cake order, wedding cake, filling the case. and taht number will grow once graduation time rolls around. just thinking of this makes my arm hurt already!
I started to decorate almost two years ago... before that my idea of "decorated cake" was frosting out of a can over a warm cake, horrible!!!!!! but since The cake decorating bug bite me, I had made about 60 cakes and some decorated cookies, almost all of them are on my pictures in the same order... sometimes I go to my album and look to my first cake and I can really see the diference with my last. Its a very nice feeling rigth? Still got that butterflies on my stomach when I get an order and I hope doesnt go away! truly love cake decorating!
Interesting topic! I took my first decorating classes about 2 years ago. So far this year I've done about 20 paid cakes (plus tons of cookies and cupcakes) and a few freebies. Last year I did about 15 paid cakes and around 15 more for family/practise. The whole rest of my life, I probably made and decorated about 10-15 cakes. So I guess that totals upto about 70 cakes decorated in my life.

I started decorating about 9 months ago and have done right around 50. Also toying with cookies now too. About half have been donated for various causes/charities. I haven't taken classes and I seem to keep busy enough with them. Although the next two months are going to be rough--especially with graduations coming up! 
i started this summer and im pretty sure i have done if not more a 100 cakes
oh my too many to count. i have been decorating cakes for 20 yrs now. family and friends b-days and holidays. Last I looked i had about 300 cake photos on my puter.
About 60-70 a day, 5-6 days a week, for almost 10 years..... ummmmmmmmmm.... a lot, i'd say,
But at home, with a level of perfectionism that I don't have at work, maybe 40 or so. 
I'm not sure?? I do know that since January I have done 40.
It is interesting to read everyone's responses. I started with the Wilton courses last February and I have made about 35 cakes so far.
I have absolutely no idea. I've never thought about it before. I've been pro for 19 years...but took a few years off. I'd guess 50,000 would be on the low side. No, I'm not joking. This would be with someone else baking and icing most of them.
No wonder my hands hurt.....(and my feet and my back...)
hmmm, not that many! i started about 2 months ago, and have done about 8-10 cakes. not all are in my photos though! my goal is to do at least 2 "important" cakes a month (ya know, for special events and holidays and things), and then a couple more practice cakes a month.
Let's see, there are only a few cakes that I haven't taken a picture of and I just filled up my second album that holds 300 pics so just over 600? I've been doing cakes since 2001. I do have a large family and in April, May and June we have parties every other week for 3 or 4 relatives. With that, Mother's Day and Father's Day, that's about 20 in 3 months that are just family!!!! ....and I do wedding cakes....one or two a weekend in wedding season. Wow, I didn't realize I had done that many!!!!

i was thinkin...i've done thousands too i guess, i been doing it professionally 7 years now...i was thinkin how often i gotta go buy cases of boxes....
