Hi. I am wondering if anyone has a brilliant idea to add to pastry pride for a tasty filling. I was wondering if adding chocolate chips or crushed oreo pieces would be a good idea. (something quick and in the pantry). I was thinking of making a chocolate cake, with pastry pride whipped icing, and as a center filling, adding chocolate chips to icing. Do you think that will work out okay?
I have folded in jams & preserves and one of the best fillings I made with Pastry Pride was one where I folded in lemon pie filling. If you add any of the mentioned items to the Pastry Pride, it will firm up considerably.
You can definitely add chocolate chips and/or chopped up oreos. It's a great medium for almost anything.
