Hi I am new to this site and to cake decorating. I made a few mini cakes today and covered with mmf. I could not get it to lay smooth at the bottom and sides there was to much mmf it kept pleating. How do I solve this problem? thinner, thicker, heat it up? any suggestions I got so frustrated I just left it was it was and ate it. thanks fo r any suggestions.

I haven't used fondant much, but I know yo have to make it thin and a lot bigger than what your covering and practice, practice. Good luck
