A butter cake with ganache frosting? My thought was to let the entire thing chill, then loosely wrap and place in the freezer for 24 hours, and then remove and tightly wrap in plastic wrap. It would be in the freezer for 3 weeks. It's needed for work but I'll be in Hawaii at the time. Will this work?

What other frosted cakes freeze well?

As long as you defrost it slowly in the fridge the day before you need it it will be fine. Just don't defrost at room temp. Good luck!
