Hi Cakers,
I have quite a few orders for little mini cakes 2" diameter circles and 2x4" squares that I will cover in poured fondant. What does everyone use for the little bases? I was going to cut foam core but cutting 100 of them seems like so much work. Can these be purchased?
Thanks again,
Lori V.

Those are petit fours sizes. Will fancy paper cups not work?

I would rather not have any cup on it.
The 2x4" cakes will be decorated to look like little presents with a lid.

You can buy 4", 5", 6" (whatever size you need) cake boards (circles or squares) at cake supply stores. Do you have one near you?

Or ... you could use paper or foil mini muffin cups and just flatten them out. That's what I do for my petite cups (two-bite sized cakes).
