the tiers are small, only a 6" and a 8" inch square. Its french vanilla cake with buttercream. (Then the small chair with mmf)
Squirrelly I love your new avatar!!! So chic! (Your the only chich squirrel I think
)
Godiva, thanks for your comment on the colors, I went back and forth until I settled on this. Masculine is what I was going for!!!

I think you could easily charge $80 - $100 because of the three tiers, the detailed patterns, just love the plaid with it, forgot to say that and the fact that you sculpted the chair. I would think to get this done at a bakery would be over $100. I tend to charge $60 for three tiered cakes and I know I am way underpricing them. When you get into sculpting and making something that is not available from a pan and do all of the details like that kiddo, it is a custom cake. Custom cakes are worth a lot of money, many bakeries charging hundreds of dollars for them.
I can appreciate how much work this was and how much time it took, just by looking at it. I think I need a nap just thinking about it!
Lisa made the new avatar, so it is Lisa that is chic, not me, haha! He is adorable!

Thanks squirrlly, I was in that ballpark. Its easy for me to second guess myself. I just wanted to be prepared as I lot of people will be seeing this cake. If I dont prepare myself for the question I tend to undercut myself when I'm put on the spot!!

I know, I think we all do that. The worse thing we do is to figure out a price based on the amount of work and cost and then get embarassed about asking for that price and we undercut ourselves. So funny how we do that!
