For Gum paste mix to dry one it has been shaped?

It depends on what you've made with it, and the humidity and temperature in the air.
What are you making??
In dry hot weather if i make small wired stars, they will dry in a couple of hours, but if humid they could take days for them to set properly.

Depends on the thickness. I figure 48 hours minimum and up to a week for figures.

hat brim 1/8th thick set to dry on form...upside down so it will stand up a bit
not raining here...

I'd give it 36-48 hours just to make sure.
