Hi there-
I totally forgot to pull my cake out of the freezer this morning. I just pulled it out but it is frozen solid. I am needing to take it to church in less than 3 hours.

Can I ice it frozen?

Any tips about doing this?

Thanks so much for your help!

Absolutely...I ice all my cakes when they are frozen. Less crumbing and easier to smooth.

Oh good. Thanks.

I was worried about the condensation that might form as it thaws. Would that mess with my colors at all?

The only thing that I found is my crumb coat hardens too quickly to spread evenly. Also the same happens with the finish coat. You have to work very quickly not to get a mess!

Can anyone help me with the condensation question??? I don't want to ice my cake and have the colors run or become discolored or anything.

Thanks so much!
