Okay, Epicurious Chocolate Stout Cake is good. Its the 4? stacked one covered in ganache with a slice out of it in my photos. I could taste the beer (Murphy's Stout), but I had drank some of it before, so it makes it easier to pick out. One thing about that recipe. Heed the warning that it makes A LOT. I made a 4 thick layer cake (oval pans from Wilton 2), 24 cupcakes, and 48 mini-cupcakes out of it.
Beer cake, beer biscuits, beer bread...all good stuff. I totally agree with Hophead, if you "don't like" beer, you haven't tried enough of them yet. Quit drinking the fizzy yellow stuff. I hated beer until DH made me try about 100 of them. My favorite now is Levitation by the Stone Brewing Company. DH's is Ruination by the same.

I have made the choc. stout cake from epicurious, it is great. The cake is very moist, you do not notice the beer taste.
