Can anyone tell me how to make the handmade pearls out of fondant? How do you get them so shiny? Thank you!

Use a pastry tip to get the size you want. Roll into a pea. Swirl in luster dust which will pick up the shiny luster you are looking for.

I think PSLCakelady meant to say "swirl in pearl dust" not lustre dust.
I really like the Super Pearl pearl dust of all of them. The pearl dusts are a little different than the lustre dusts because if you are painting items you can mix them with water. But you wouldn't be doing that for pearls, you would just put some air dried pearls in a tiny container with a bit of lustre dust and shake them.

The Super Pearl is my favorite also. I used this on my Sons wedding cake, The pearls looked like real pearls.
