I keep reading about wasc so I'm making one for my niece's birthday. What's a good filling for it? and What's your favorite icing for it?

this cake has an almond flavor- a buttery icing with almond, chocolate, most of the berry flavors(jam) are ones I would consider for both the filling and icing.

I made it for the first time this weekend. Filled it with raspberry cream cheese buttercream (just used extract for the fruit flavor), and regular ole buttercream on top. It was sooooo good!

I used the Easy Raspberry Filling in the recipes section:

I made it with Easy Lemon Filling, here's the link.

I think just about anything would go good with it though.

Mmmm. You guys are making it hard to make a decision.
Sugarbunz-that sounds so good, I immediately thought 'that's what I'm making!' but smbegg mentioned strawberry mousse and that sound so yummy too.
I just went grocery shopping and bought cream cheese cuz I knew I'd use it somewhere. Ahhh, decisions decisions.
I think the strawberry mousse with buttercream dream!
Thanks for everyone's help!!!!
