Check out my Scooby Doo, maybe you could put him in the center and add roses on the corners.
If you're using a purchased doll of Scooby Doo, then you could make a sheet cake with a garden of roses...use tip 233 to make grass...make a cobblestone winding walkway to place Scooby on...and then tiny rose bushes all along the way...if you use fondant, you can make mini roses fairly easily by making a flat strip of fondant and then rolling it up to look like a rose...gently roll the edges to make it "flower" a bit.
Don't know what the occassion is for but you could incorporate the "stop and smell the roses" saying into it somehow.
Do a BCT of this picture and put the roses around it. By the way, this is for a woman who is either turning 39 or 40... can't remember.
