I was wondering if you can freeze a cake that has been torted and covered with a crumb coat. The cake will be covered with freezer paper and all seams sealed. It needs to be frozen for 2 weeks. Can I do this?
Will the cake taste funny? Will the icing be ruined?
Thanks

It will do best in a box, wrapped in plastic. It can absorb odors from the freezer. Otherwise, unless you are using a cream based filling, it should be fine for two weeks in the freezer.
