I was wondering if anyone had the receipe for the whoopie pie filling. I have one receipe, but it's not that super sweat to die for. I am talking about the filling in the whoopie pies that you would buy from a bakery.

Thanks for your help,
Amie

I have a recipe for Whoopie Pies. Not sure if this is the type of filling you are looking for.

Whoopie Pie Filling
2 cups marshmallow creme
2 cups 10 X Powdered sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
2 tsp. vanilla

In small bowl, beat filling ingredients until fluffy. Spread on each whoopie pie and top with another whoopie pie.

Credit for this recipe goes to my husband's first cousin, Lisa, Queen of the Whoopie Pie for all family gatherings...

Filling:

2/3 C shortening
2 egg whites
2 C powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Whip the egg whites until stiff. Add shortening and vanilla, then sugar.

Good luck!
