Filling Question

Hi again I need some more help two questions first off I need to do a Vanilla filling does anyone have a really good recipes other then just Vanilla pudding (mine never sets up that good and the birthday kid wants a Vanilla filling but not pudding) so now I am at a loss. Any help would be great!!! Also when doing cakes for birthday do you provide the candles I know it sounds lame but just not sure ???

You could do a whipping cream flavored with some pure vanilla extract. OR if you're having a problem with your pudding setting up you could use the pudding cups. Some don't have to be refrigerated.

As far as the candles go. No, I have never supplied them. And no one else I know does either. The pudding that is premade is a good idea in a jam.

As far as the candles I've never included them with the purchase of cake but I do have them on hand if customer needs them. About 1/3 of my customers buy them from me because they have simply forgot. I have regular candles and I have special candles or themed candles.

Vanilla mousse might be nice. Or how about the cookies and cream filling but instead of using regular Oreos use those new vanilla ones?

why not use a vanilla buttercream? You could also try a standard pastry cream.
