This may sound like a silly question, but do you remember what size the styrofoam ball is?

The styrofoam used for the head was 4", but I think it was kind of big for the 6" cakes, so I recommen you to use a smaller ball or go bigger with the cakes. Thanks. Claudia

Awesome! I bookmarked the photo in the gallery to my favorites. I need to try more 3D cakes too. Just have not been brave enough or had opportunity to try so far.

Ok, hope you don't mind, but I might have to copy and paste this photo into my Word document of favorite photos!!! I'd like to try something like this someday. : ) You've done a super job and I bet your friend just loved it!
How did you get the shape of the dog's head so perfectly? Seriously, you'd think this came from a mold! Congrats on a superb job! : )

So cute! You did a great job. You'd better get some business cards made up! What a great feeling it must have been to have strangers come up and ask about your cake. Kudos!

Claudine1976, It's so cute that I had to share the link to this thread with my friends on a yorkie forum. Now were talking ladies whom are yorkie crazy. They LOVED it!
