I don't ever do cookies until now!!!!just starting the whole cookie decorating thing so my question is this...when decorating cookies for a cookie boquet,or an event/shower and having to wrap them, what is the best frosting to use?? I am afraid if I use BC and then put my cookies in cookie bags or wrap that the BC will smudge icon_surprised.gif and then if I frost with royal I don't want anyone to think the frosting is to hard and not edible.what to do please......TIA

I use antonia's RI. It's on here, it doesn't get too hard to eat and it's really good. I add almond extract to mine. Let me know if you can't find the recipe. thumbs_up.gif

I use Antonia's icing also. It tastes great and doesn't get hard like royal . You can find the recipe here on this site under frostings

Here's the "how-to" article I wrote last year for this site. It has a link to the recipe and lots of tips: thumbs_up.gif
