I'm going to be calling my local places to find out how much they charge but I'm curious as to what you guys think as well.....
Fountain underneath cake (they paid for and are keeping fountain)
16 inch round dummy
14 inch round dummy stacked on
12 inch round dummy stacked on
glass bowl tier w/ seperators (they are paying for this and are keeping it)
8 inch round real cake
6 inch round real cake stacked on
(4) 8 inch round cakes off to side
(2) 11 x 15 x 2 sheet cakes with minimal decorations (rosebuds on each slice and a border)
No topper (they are providing this as well)
All cakes are 4 inches high.
As for decorating.... white bc icing on all cakes, basketweave done on sides of all round cakes, borders, and simple flowers on top of satellite cakes (maybe bc roses...or something like that) and on the sides pf all cakes.
ANY ideas where to start on pricing? Also, is there a chart somewhere that will help me figure out how many servings are in each size cake?
Thank you in advance for any answers you might be able to give me. I love this site!
Here is a link to one chart, and there is another on earlenescakes.com
Her chart has more generous servings. For basket weave, I would charge $3 a serving, minimum.

Thanks JoAnn!
$3 a serving huh? I can't imagine anyone being willing to pay that much for a cake....haha
I don't see serving #'s for an 11 x 15 pan in your link....does anyone know how many servings are in one?
Also, how do you figure in "servings" for the dummy cakes? It's not like they get to eat it but I have to go through all the work of decorating it with the basketweaves and stuff!
