My niece is having a Little Mermaid and Finding Nemo 2nd B-day party. What would you suggest as desserts? I don't know how to make the Character cakes so I'm going with either cupcakes or cookies. Any suggestions out there as far as decorating them?
Anyone have any of these pics for inspiration? I'd even go for a beach theme if anything. Thanks...

I think maybe I would go with a CCC with the
''Under The Sea theme , I think that would do it for sweets if a big part of her guests are 2yr olds.
If not I would probably add a cookie platter with fish and seahorse cookies.

I just looked in the Galleries and there was a Ninja Turtle/Mermaid cake .That is sorts the idea you are looking for.

For my DD's Finding Nemo party, I made some blue jello and poured it into the smooth clear plastic cocktail cups. When the jello was semi-set (still a bit soft), I pushed in a swedish fish. When completely firm, I topped the cup with whipped cream (sea foam). Everyone loved them!
