I guess my question is how do I keep the screen of the laptop up? I know it is attached to the cake board, but how do you attach it?

Thanks for any help!!!

Personally I would use wooden dowels and have a sharpened end to stick "into" the board. Also, starting with frosting on the bottom of the cake too! But I would make sure to use a few dowels to keep it up. This will bring your post back up to the top incase someone else has a better idea what to do! Jen

gumpaste! I like my cakes all edible, as much as possible, anyhow. I'd build up the screen into a box shell with an angled L-bracket (gumpaste) support running along the underside mounted to the fondant covered cake.
